Hi there! I'm Lia, a design career coach with a passion for helping individuals navigate the complexities of their professional journeys. My expertise lies in finding your unique strengths, establishing healthy work boundaries, and getting clarity on your values to align them with your current or next role. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of co-founding the Life Experience Design framework. Through this framework, I've taught dozens of people how to apply design thinking to design their ideal careers and lives. It's been incredibly rewarding to witness their growth and success. Additionally, I've taught hundreds of individuals through a Skillshare course on designing their ideal life in just six weeks. In 2021, I launched the Swishie podcast, where I highlight women of color in various career paths who have redefined what success looks like for them by intentionally designing a life and career they love. This platform allows me to share inspiring stories and valuable insights. To further share my knowledge and experiences, I've created over 40 videos on my YouTube channel. These videos cover topics such as inspiration, curiosity, confidence, and creativity, providing practical advice and personal examples. My educational background includes a major in Psychology from UCLA and a major in Web Design & New Media from the Academy of Art University. These diverse areas of study have equipped me with a well-rounded perspective and a deep understanding of human behavior and design principles. I have been fortunate to work with esteemed companies such as Google, Lumanu, TIBCO Software, Nest, and GE Healthcare. These experiences have allowed me to refine my skills and gain valuable insights into the industry.
