Early in my career, I was sitting in a desk at a corporate sales job that drained me. I knew there had to be something more to life and I knew I wanted to pursue something I loved. I had always been a creative person, so I immediately signed up for a ceramics class, met for coffee with web designers, and volunteered at a cooking school trying to figure it out. Somewhere in that process, I realized I had been playing with my boyfriend's DSLR for the last year and really enjoyed it. I thought, “why have I never thought of doing this as an actual job?” The minute that clarity hit, I invested. I dropped thousands from my savings (literally) to pursue it full force and reached out to other photographers trying to learn as much as possible. And well, the rest is history — fast forward to today and I’ve brought on a creative team to work with clients full time to take pictures and do what I love. Since picking up my first camera.... - I've created a six figure business working with my dream clients 1-2x a week. - I’ve had the pleasure of working and getting published with companies like LinkedIn, Forbes, Silicon Valley Magazine. - I’ve been able to support many other women pursue their dream jobs by providing images for their businesses. - I’ve hired a team and have photographed people like Nancy Pelosi, Eva Chen, and Demi Moore. - I’ve checked off my bucket list of attending and photographing New York Fashion Week.
