With more than 30 years of experience as a community development professional, Kimberly Lynne Vantrees Akuffu has provided invaluable assistance to nonprofits with the development of their major gift programs by conducting successful donor prospecting research and grant writing. Kimberly is an American citizen, born in Michigan, USA, now residing in Michigan, North Carolina and Ghana. She is the Founder and President of Lake Pishon Women's Empowerment Ministries, a registered 501 © 3 charity, and is a Board member for Our Stories Matter, USA, a registered nonprofit that serves women and girls and has volunteered with over 75 Non profits, assisting them with donations, capacity building training, grant writing and Board governance. In addition, she serves as a chair of the Pan African Heritage Museum US Volunteer committee, and serves on Nonprofit boards in Ghana and the US. Kim is a consultant for University College of Communications (AUCC), and the Coalition Of Volunteering Organizations of Ghana (COVOG).
